This August, a VERY rare 1936 Bugatti Type 57C will go on the auction block at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
It is estimated that this car may fetch north of $12 million, besting the price recently paid for a 1957 Ferarri 260 Testa Rosa.
This Bugatti was a gift to Ettore Bugatti, and was kept during World War II by the good people at the Bugatti Factory. The Bugatti factory also maintained and upgraded the car over the years.
This is a similar car that was discovered, covered with decades of dust, in a garage of a doctor in England. That car, fetched more than $6 million at auction.
