Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze Soft Buff™ 2.0 7″ Polishing Pads & Meguiar’s Easy-Buff Backing Plate

Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze Soft Buff™ 2.0 7″ Polishing Pads are designed to do everything from cutting to remove moderate surface defects to finishing with your favorite sealant or liquid wax. The Soft Buff 2.0 design reduces friction to finish with less swirls.
The Soft Buff 2.0 pads are made for a 6″ backing plate.
Meguiar’s recommends these pads be used with rotary buffers for best results, but it can be used with dual-action or orbital polishers.

The recess in the back of the pad fits perfectly on a 6″ backing plate for easy centering, and a lip around the edge for pad provides protection for the edge of the backing plate.

Mirror Glaze 7″ Foam Cutting Pad

This Purple pad is designed to cut when using a compound to remove moderate paint defects.

This pad is best used with Meguiar’s M83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish and Meguiar’s M80 Speed Glaze and an orbital polisher.

On your orbital polisher, for best results, run the machine between 3 and 5.

Mirror Glaze 7″ Foam Polishing Pad

The Yellow pad can remove minor surface defects while restoring gloss.

This pad can be used with most cleaner/polishes and is best used with cleaner/waxes like Meguiar’s Paint Reconditioning Cream and Meguiar’s No. 6 Cleaner Wax.

Mirror Glaze 7″ Foam Finishing Pad

The Black pad is for removing light swirls and can create a high-gloss finish.

This pad can be used with pure polishes like Meguiar’s #3 Machine Glaze and Meguiar’s #7 Show Car Glaze. It can also be used with pure waxes like Meguiar’s #21 Synthetic Sealant 2.0, and liquid sealants like Meguiar’s NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0.

We’ve also added the new Meguiars W66 Backing Plate for circular polishers to our inventory.

The “Meguiar’s Easy-Buff” Backing Plate for rotary polishers was created using the same technology perfected for the Meguiar’s OEM Polishing System used by the auto manufacturers. This “Easy-Buff” soft, padded backing plate is an alternative to a hard backing plate to distribute pressure for smoother buffing. This distributed pressure also helps to reduce swirls.

The benefits to using this “Easy-Buff” Backing Plate are:
